Types of rug:  

Handira's traditionally worn as wedding or ceremonial capes made from natural wool with glittering sequins.  

Beni Ourain rugs are desired for their natural colours and simplistic patterns made from natural sheeps wool. The older vintage pieces have a wonderful silky sheen to the pile.  

Graduated rugs made in stages by women when they could afford wool, they would dye in batches creating lovely staggered patterns. These carpets often tell a story of traditional Berber life in the symbols woven in to the pile. Some colours are more difficult to find, greens and blues, reds and oranges, are more popular from . However it is possible locate every colour.  

Marmouche are soft and silky with a flat pile. Typically coloured light pistachio with soft taupe symbols woven into the pile creating unique pieces.
